Poker is the best game in the world.
I played cards just for fun with friends throughout high school and college. When I turned 21, I started playing at the local casino (Rivers Schenectady) and became obsessed. The hours I spent studying poker vastly outweighed those studying computer science and math.
After failing a class that was required to graduate, I took a step back, finished up school, and re-focused on my career in tech.
When COVID forced the world into lockdowns, part of my free time was spent producing the podcast, and the rest on getting back into poker.
Ever since moving to Texas, I've been a regular on the live-streamed cash games run by Texas Card House, the Lodge, and others.
